Ordained Unity Ministers, Spiritual Leaders of Unity Churches and Centers, and Licensed Unity Teachers and their partners come together once a year for a time of connection, renewal, and growth at the Ministry Leaders and Teachers (MLT) event. As part of the event, we will hold our Annual Regional Meeting where members will vote for Trustees & our Budget.

This year, we are holding our annual MLT event at beautiful Villa Maria del Mar in Santa Cruz. On the coast of the Monterey Bay, Villa Maria del Mar is a house of hospitality for individuals and groups seeking a beautiful and serene space for prayer, planning, and healing. Single Occupancy Rooms (one twin bed, no double occupancy rooms are available) and all meals during the event are included!

Leading With Heart:  Unity Ministry in a Changing World

Join us for a rich gathering of connection, learning, and shared wisdom.  This event will feature interactive workshops, a special session on One Unity, offering greater clarity and conversation about the proposed merger of Unity Worldwide Ministries and Unity World Headquarters as well as our regional business meeting. Together, we’ll explore new tools, deepen our spiritual practices, and engage in the important conversations shaping the future of our movement.

Please note that Minister and Licensed Unity Teacher Licensing requirements have recently changed!

Minister Annual Licensing Requirements as of January 2026
7 Hours of CEU hours total which include:
1 Administration/Management CEU hour
1 Ethics/Boundaries CEU hour
1 Diversity / Inclusion CEU hour
 
LUT Annual Licensing Requirements as of January 2026
5 Hours of CEU hours total which include:
1 Administration/Management CEU hour
1 Ethics/Boundaries CEU hour
1 Diversity / Inclusion CEU hour
The West Central Region is committed to providing ministers and LUTs opportunities for connection and growth, which meet the annual licensing CEU hour requirements.
 
The October 2025 MLT provides:  
6 Hours of CEU hours total which include:
2 Administration/Management CEU hours
1.5 Ethics/Boundaries CEU hours
The March 2025 Key Leader Event provided:
5 hours of CEU with 2 Diversity / Inclusion CEU hours.
