Ordained Unity Ministers, Spiritual Leaders of Unity Churches and Centers, and Licensed Unity Teachers and their partners come together once a year for a time of connection, renewal, and growth at the Ministry Leaders and Teachers (MLT) event. As part of the event, we will hold our Annual Regional Meeting where members will vote for Trustees & our Budget.
This year, we are holding our annual MLT event at beautiful Villa Maria del Mar in Santa Cruz. On the coast of the Monterey Bay, Villa Maria del Mar is a house of hospitality for individuals and groups seeking a beautiful and serene space for prayer, planning, and healing. Single Occupancy Rooms (one twin bed, no double occupancy rooms are available) and all meals during the event are included!

The Integral Ministry Practice with Gary Simmons

The IMP is an alternative ministry practice that is an antidote to the decline of congregational ministry. Unlike the 400-year-old “plop, pray and pay” pastor / flock model of ministry, the IMP focuses on a holistic or integral approach to ministry practice. Based on the work of Ken Wilber (Theory of Everything), Don Beck (Spiral Dynamics), Paul Smith (Integral Christianity), Jim Lockard (Being the Beloved Community), Bruce Sanguin (The Emerging Church), Fredrick Laloux (Reinventing Organizations), Cindy Wigglesworth (SQ21) and other luminaries, the IMP works to embrace ministry as a “living system” capable of evolving and adapting to changing circumstances.
